Homemade Flower Preservatives

Be sure to re-cut the ends of the stems at an angle when putting in your vase
1) 1 T sugar, 1/4 t bleach per quart water
OR
2) 2 T white vinegar, 2 T sugar, 1/2 t bleach per quart water
OR
Simply add a few drops bleach
***For all recipes, stir until the sugar dissolves, and let the water cool before adding the flowers. Dump the old solution and replace it with fresh solution every few days.
