Yes! Our fees are $40 for a 9-10 a.m. session before opening of the day, call to schedule; $30 an hour during business hours (10-5:30 M-F, 10-4 Sat-Sun, no appt. or deposit required during business hours, pay at time of session). 971-235-3469

The color/variety I need is done blooming by the time I want it. Can you hold any?

We can extend the life of the flowers for 2 weeks if they are picked as buds and held in the cooler. Cooler fees are $10 day.

Why aren’t my peonies blooming?

Are they planted too deep? (top of root should only be 2″ deep) They also need full (or almost) sun and space around them. Also don’t plant them in a spot in the yard that sits in water over the winter. Fertilize spring and fall, but don’t overdo it. (See plant care)

Do you sell anything but peonies?

We will have hazelnuts in the shell available this year. Bulk if requested.

I have an artist friend that designs greeting cards. She has a great story. She took care of her mother for years, she found a YouTube on origami and entertained her mother making colorful birds, autumn leaves, Christmas trees, and it gave her mother great delight. When her mother died in 2022, she was lost. Shortly after, she found videos on painting “loose watercolors” which intrigued her even though she could not draw so much as a recognizable stick figure. To her surprise her paintings actually looked like something. Now gaining confidence she laughs in surprise and wonders “where is this coming from?” Honestly she says “I think it was mom sending me a present because she saw how sad I was and she brought me joy once again.” Her cards are definitely a piece of art. She also does art for framing (although her cards are definitely frame worthy) and I’m even having her do some custom cards with my grandchildren in the peony field!
